Don't tell me your age; you'd probably lie anyway-but the Hershey Man will know! YOUR AGE BY CHOCOLATE MATH. This is pretty neat. DON'T CHEAT BY SCROLLING DOWN FIRST! It takes less than a minute. Work this out as you read. Be sure you don't read the bottom until you've worked it out! This is not one of those waste of time things, it's fun. 1. First of all, pick the number of times a week that you would like to have chocolate (more than once but less than 10) 2. Multiply this number by 2 (just to be bold) 3. Add 5 4. Multiply it by 50 -- I'll wait while you get the calculator 5. If you have already had your birthday this year add 1762 .. If you haven't, add 1761.. 6... Now subtract the four digit year that you were born. You should have a three digit number The first digit of this was your original number (i.e., how many times you want to have chocolate each week). The next two numbers are YOUR AGE! (Oh YES, it is!!!!!) "A close look at pebble-filled layers of rock has convinced scientists that NASA's Curiosity rover is driving through a dried-up stream bed on Mars where water flowed vigorously billions of years ago. They say it's the kind of place that just might have supported life when the planet was young.
"This is a rock that was formed in the presence of water," Caltech's John Grotzinger, project scientist for the $2.5 billion Mars Science Laboratory mission, said today during a televised news conference at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, Calif. The evidence is in the shape, size and composition of the rocks that Curiosity came across at multiple sites during its landing on Aug. 5. Conglomerate rocks, consisting of pebbles cemented together within layers of sediment, were seen at three sites: Goulburn, a bedrock formation that was exposed by the blast from Curiosity's descent. Link, a rock outcrop that was seen once Curiosity headed out from the landing site. Hottah, an uplifted slab of craggy rock that was given a visual inspection two weeks ago. Hottah in particular showed clear evidence of rounded pebbles that were too big to be smoothed by the action of the wind. Some of the rocks are as big as golf balls. The best explanation for the gravelly pebbles was that they were eroded by the vigorous flow of water, said Curiosity science team member Rebecca Williams, a senior scientist at the Arizona-based Planetary Science Institute. The Hottah slab, which measures 4 to 6 inches (10 to 15 centimeters) thick, looks as if "somebody came along the surface of Mars with a jackhammer and lifted up a sidewalk that you might see in downtown LA, sort of like in a construction site," Grotzinger said." NBC news Wow that was pretty cool I don't believe In aliens but that was awesome think animals could have been on mars a long time ago! Lol that's what I think is going on when I go. At your next Chinese dinner, surprise them with homemade fortune cookies! You'll need to have a bunch of fortunes written out on paper for stuffing in the cookies!
Ingredients 5 tablespoons unsalted butter 4 egg whites 1 cup super fine sugar 1 cup sifted all-purpose flour 1 pinch salt 3 tablespoons heavy whipping cream 1 teaspoon almond extract Directions Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Coat baking sheet with cooking spray. Melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat. In bowl of an electric mixer, combine egg whites and sugar; beat on medium speed for about 30 seconds. Add flour and salt; beat until mixed. Add butter, heavy cream and almond extract; beat until mixed. Pour 1 tablespoon batter onto half the baking sheet. Spread with a spoon into a thin 5 inch circle; repeat on other half of sheet. Bake until edges turn golden brown, about 8 minutes. Place baking sheet on a heat-resistant surface. Working quickly, slide a spatula under one cookie. Lift and place on a dish towel. Fold cookie in half, pinching at top to form loose semicircle. Insert index fingers into ends; press indentation into center of cookie while bending ends together to form shape of a fortune cookie. This should take about 10 seconds. Once the cookie hardens, you cannot fold it. Repeat with other cookies. Write your message on long strips of sturdy art paper, and thread through cooled cookie.
